Happy Wednesday Team Nursery,

Tapestry has been full of all things vegetable so far this week! I am really looking forward to sharing all of your amazing learning on Friday! If you haven’t yet, do upload some pictures to Tapestry so I can share what you have been up to with all of your friends!

This week, why not check out a special story telling session by Actor Samuel West?

As part of The Royal Albert Hall at Home, Actor Samuel West will present this special storytelling session reading Paul Jennings’ 1967 book The Great Jelly of London. The Great Jelly of London, illustrated by Gerald Rose, is a children’s fantasy book centered around Mr Bonamy Didcot’s grand plan to make an enormous jelly using the Royal Albert Hall as a mould! The Royal Albert Hall is also doing a home version of their Opera for Kids which will be available soon. If you register on their website they will keep you updated with all the new events and when you can watch.

Well-being calendar

This well-being calendar has lots of fun activities, with some ideas to help the well-being of children while at home. This calendar gives children a chance to express any worries they may be having and lots of activities to celebrate how amazing they are. This is a resource that doesn’t need to be printed but there is a black and white version if you wanted to print and colour in. It could then go up on the wall or fridge!

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out on email (george.style@langfordprimary.org.uk) with any questions  or concerns and I’ll be checking Tapestry to see all of your fun learning.
Grace and peace,

George Style
