Dear Team Nursery,

You have had a wonderfully green week full of lots of vegetable exploration;  I am excited to celebrate some of this brilliant learning below. I hope you are all well and are finding joy in these times. I am thankful that I can see all of the imagination-releasing fun that you have been filling your days with! I think of you all every day and can’t wait to learn with you all again.

Next week’s learning is up on our website here.

Remember to read the Well-being Calendar everyday to keep yourselves happy too.

VE Day

Today is the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, a very important and historical day which marked the end of World War II in Europe, back in 1945. To help celebrate this important day, there are some activities here.

Check out Langford’s Twitter account @langfordprimary for a photo of people celebrating VE Day in 1945 just behind our school!

Celebrating a wonderful week:

We have been learning all about vegetables, exploring them through art, cooking and good ol’ fashioned gardening!

We have tried new vegetables, created food diaries and talked about what we liked (and what we didn’t!)

We have explored patterns around us.

And build super comfy book nooks!

And now we have a long weekend to enjoy so relax and have a cup of (sage) tea!

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out on email (george.style@langfordprimary.org.uk) with any questions  or concerns and I’ll be checking Tapestry to see all of your fun learning.
Grace and peace,

George Style
