13th November 2020 | D Grouni Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf? …Not our Nursery children! TeamN has been reading the story of the Three Little Pigs for the past two weeks and showed a great excitement when acting out the story. The children are very confident telling the story of the Three Little Pigs, using some gestures to show key words that relate to the story as three, little, pig, big, bad, wolf, build, house, safe, strong, blow, chin, etc.. We made a house out of “straw”, a house out of “sticks” and a house out of “bricks”. We created out own puppets for our piggies, using our fine motor skills to cut the paper in a round shape using the scissors, sticked some buttons to make the pig’s nose and eyes and a lolly stick to support the puppet! Outdoors, the weather helped us to explore the wind. We made airplanes out of paper, attached them on a string and run as fast as we could to see them flying up in the air! What an exciting week for Team Nursery!
