Hello Team 4!

I hope you’ve all had a pleasant start to your week so far.

Reviewing Online Safety

With lockdown and at home learning, it’s only natural that you may be spending more time on your screens.

This week, we are focusing on how to stay safe online. In this folder, you’ll find lots of resources.

We have shared many resources in the past, and have now put together a folder to teach you more about online safety. You can access the resources in the folder here.

Competition Time

Although there are many videos about online safety, now you have the chance to help create one of your own in the Childnet Film Competition!

This year there are three categories, including one where you don’t actually have to create the film itself:

  • Solo category – Young people make their own film, with minimal support from an adult.
  • Group category – Work with friends or family to make a film.
  • Storyboard category – Create a short storyboard and script for a film.

Your challenge is to create a positive, short online safety film or a storyboard with a script in response to this year’s theme which is ‘We want an internet where we’re free to…’

The deadline is next Monday 22nd June 2020 at 5pm.

For more information about the competition and tips on what makes a great film or storyboard here to go to their website.

Happy learning and creating!
