Hi Team 4

It has been another amazing week of learning! I have been blown away by all the brilliant focus of the children in school and so impressed with everyone at home.

In maths this week we have been continuing learning about decimals. Even though this is a new topic, Team 4 have been giving it ago and are improving every day!

Meera has been so dedicated this week in maths overcoming challenges by asking lots of questions, showing a great growth mindset.

In English this week we have been been preparing to write a narrative on our tiny character. We have been building up a character description and setting.  Also we have practicing using expanded noun phrases.

This week Team 4 have been thinking about what they are thankful for. Some have written thank you cards for the amazing donation of books Langford has received to help us learn more about race, racism and how to be anti-racist. We read some of the books together, and they wrote messages about why it is so important to treat everyone equally!

Maira and Albiona have written lovely thank you cards to their parents.

Simone has been busy making gratitude paper chains.

Special Shout Outs:

Well done to Ava for using her initiative during some technological issues this week and making brownies while we got the sways back up and running.

Alex went above and beyond the learning on the sways and has received two certificates from the IXL website. Congratulations!

Keep up the fantastic learning Team 4 and have a lovely weekend!
